Training

The Munich Soccer Camp is designed for players aged 14-18. Coaches challenge players in high-quality training sessions, which push them to improve technically and tactically. We typically conduct individual training sessions in the morning, followed by a team training session in the afternoon. Enough time in between training sessions is guaranteed to give players thorough rest and recovery.
Players train alongside other national and international athletes from the academy. All training sessions are conducted by experienced and licensed English-speaking coaches and trainers. By the end of the camp, all players depart with an enhanced tactical understanding of the game and a clear roadmap for personal improvement on the pitch. Moreover, they cultivate maturity, boost self-confidence, and forge friendships with peers from across the globe.

Excursions

Allianz Arena Tour
Where stars are born: The Allianz Arena is home to the 2020 Champions League winner and Germany’s most successful club, FC Bayern Munich. With an impressive capacity of 75,000, it will serve as a venue for the opening game of the 2024 EURO.
Castle Herrenchiemsee
Castle Herrenchiemsee is a magnificent palace located on Herreninsel, one of the islands in the Chiemsee lake in Bavaria, Germany. Commissioned by King Ludwig II of Bavaria, it was intended to be a replica of the Palace of Versailles in France and serves as a tribute to the grandeur of Louis XIV. Construction began in 1878, but the castle was never fully completed. Despite this, Herrenchiemsee boasts opulent interiors, elaborate gardens, and impressive fountains.
Soccer Golf
Soccer golf is a unique and entertaining sport that combines elements of soccer and golf, offering a fun activity for players. Played on a specially designed course, participants aim to kick a soccer ball into a series of holes in as few shots as possible, much like traditional golf. The picturesque setting in Inzell, surrounded by the stunning Bavarian Alps, makes this a truly unique experience.
Archery
Archery is an ancient sport that involves using a bow to shoot arrows at a target. It enhances concentration and mental focus, skills that are essential across various athletic disciplines. Players participate in a beginners course, learning and understanding the fundamentals of archery. Additionally, at the end of the course, players compete against each other in a one-on-one shootout, hence making it a fun and competitive activity.
Immersing yourself in the rich culture of Germany provides a unique opportunity for players to broaden their horizons and gain a deeper understanding of the world around them. Being submerged in the language allows them to not only improve their German proficiency but also fosters cultural exchange and communication skills. Exploring the iconic architecture sparks creativity and appreciation for design. Moreover, experiencing Germany’s stunning natural landscapes, from the lush Black Forest to the picturesque Bavarian Alps, offers a refreshing break from urban life and inspires a deeper connection with nature.

Location

JB Soccer Academy+ has partnered with Germany’s number one soccer boarding school, DFI. Our campus is located in the idyllic Bavarian town of Bad Aibling, nestled at the base of the German Alps, 30 miles southeast of Munich. The sprawling campus serves as a center of excellence for young players, currently accommodating 85 national and international soccer players aged 12 to 18 who live and train on campus every day. With training pitches and workout equipment also available at DFI, players enjoy short walks from their rooms to fields and the gym, as well as to the dining hall and laundry area.
Accomodation
Dorm rooms accommodate a maximum of two players each and are equipped with WIFI. Bath and bed linens are provided, along with full laundry service. Nearby grocery stores enable players to shop for additional food items and toiletries. Ample indoor common area space and outdoor areas allow players to socialize during their downtime.
Nutrition
A fully staffed and equipped dining hall serves three meals a day, with snacks available to take away. When players go on excursions, we provide them with on-site meals or prepacked lunch packages. Meals are nutritionally balanced and tailored for young athletes, offering a variety of options, including vegan and vegetarian choices.
Health and Safety
The health and safety of players are our highest priorities. We have a dedicated camp management and welfare team on-site, available day and night. We provide curfews and 24/7 chaperones to ensure players feel safe and supported. Our physiotherapists and on-site trainers take care of minor injuries that may occur during practice. In case of emergencies, we provide transportation to medical appointments and the hospital, which is just three miles away from the campus.

Mental Coaching

Becoming a successful soccer player involves more than just talent and physical abilities. Our two Mental Performance Coaching sessions during camp equip players with the mindset they need to boost their confidence, sharpen their focus, and cultivate the determination to excel in their training and competition. Our players will learn various skills and techniques, including Positive Self-Talk, Visualization, Body Language, and Goal Setting.
Positive Self-Talk
Overall, positive self-talk is a powerful mental tool that empowers athletes to overcome challenges, perform at their best, and cultivate a resilient and confident mindset essential for success in sports. Targeted exercises are designed to minimize negative thoughts and maximize focus. In addition, the players learn how to effectively design and use their own personal motivation sentence.
Visualization
Thanks to a great deal of scientific research, it is known that simply imagining movement sequences and situations in a mental sense can influence an athlete’s actions. It is also possible to achieve learning success in soccer by imagining a desired target state with closed eyes and thus mentally simulating it. Visualization can lead to positive effect on self-confidence, processing of setbacks, perception and game preparation.
Body Language
Maintaining strong and focused body language can enhance athletic performance. Studies have shown that adopting power poses or confident body postures can lead to increased feelings of power and performance. Furthermore, having a positive body language can strengthen the athletes’ leadership & communication skills and increase confidence on and off the field.
Goal Setting
Setting clear, specific goals gives athletes something to strive for and helps maintain motivation throughout training and competition. Goals provide athletes with a sense of direction and focus. By outlining specific objectives, players can prioritize their efforts and allocate their time and resources effectively and be as successful as possible.
